Calvin Klein (November 19, 1942, The Bronx, New York under the name of Richard Klein). Renowned fashion designer. His name is also a brand of clothing, managed by his company which was founded in 1968.

Calvin Klein was raised in the immigrant community of Jews from the Bronx in New York. His first success in the fashion industry was when it launched its first line of jeans in the 1970s.

The company Calvin Klein, like many in the fashion industry, is known for his flashy ads. It is accused by several conservative organizations for using models seemingly minor in semiprovocativas poses.

In addition to clothing, Calvin Klein gave his name to a line of perfumes, including CK One and CK Be (fragrances for everyone regardless of sex), owned by Unilever, which since May 2006 happened to belong to Group Coty.
